The mandate for hybrid work is here to stay. In fact, 41% of the respondents to Foundry’s new “2022 Future of Work Survey” said hybrid work is the expected model going forward and 37% said the majority of employees will continue to work remotely for the foreseeable future.
But hybrid work isn’t the same as remote work. Hybrid work supports a blend of in-office and remote workers. Companies that can’t make the transition from one to the other or that stubbornly stick with a narrow approach may suffer long-term consequences. For example, enterprises may find that they’re faced with less productive, disconnected, and frustrated employees at a time when jobs have become more plentiful.
This white paper explores why this type of transformational organizational change can’t be accomplished with a simple checklist. Rather, it’s an opportunity for organizations to reimagine their business processes and the future of work to create better employee (and, ultimately, customer) experiences, improve productivity and operational efficiency, and address huge societal concerns ranging from work/life balance to hiring equality.
